Smith & Cork Electrical sucesfully designed, manufactured and install this 2500A switchboard complete with G99 sensing relay and fully automated breakers.
The project was undertaken to replace the aging gas fired heating boilers and circulating pumps. The old control system was also replaced. A new plantroom was built to house the new boilers and control panel, whilst the pump sets within the existing plantroom were to be replaced. Smith & Cork Electrical designed and implemented a design utilising some of the plants existing wiring together with new circuits for the new plantroom. An EasyIO control system with 8" colour HMI have been installed. We also installed a Delta 3G router to maintain connection with the plant for remote diagnosis an monitoring.
Wastewater Control System
A stainless steel floor standing control panel for a wastewater plant. Smith & Cork Electrical are contracted to carry out the electrical installation also.
M.Gaze & Co - Interceptor Tanker & Discharge Control
A flagship project for Smith & Cork Electrical. We were approached by a large local waste processing company to design, build, install and commission a new control system for a large industrial clean-up plant. Through several stages the plant separates oil from contaminated sand and soil. The project was made more challenging because the large control panel had to be designed in such a way that it could be assembled and tested in out workshop and then disassembled for transportation and installation. The control panel was installed into a high level container, allowing no margin for error.
The control system is fully automated and multiple items of plant are viewed and controlled from the single 15" Delta Automation HMI

M.Gaze & Co - Polymer Dosing Control Panel
Smith & Cork Electrical were approached to design, install, programme and test a Polymer dosing control system. We have taken advantage of the Delta Automation DVP series of programmable controllers and 7" colour HMI.
Warren School Lowestoft
Smith & Cork Electrical were contracted to design, build, programme and install a new control panel for a heating and ventilation system serving a swimming pool at The Warren School, Lowestoft. After an initial site survey and collating all of the required electrical information on each item of mechanical plant, Smith & Cork quickly completed a design and control panel schematics.
Leiston Primary School
A small HVAC control panel controlling boilers and pumps. Smith & Cork completed the design and manufacture of the control panel for a local authority contract.
We were contracted to design and manufacture a new control panel for the control of a HVAC system at Essex & Suffolk Water, Langford. The control panel contains a Cylon Controls BMS system.
Five Star Fish - Effluent Plant
Smith & Cork Electrical were asked to manufacture a control panel from a clients in house design, which we happily agreed to. Working alongside our client, minor changes were made to allow for a more efficient manufacture. Smith & Cork Electrical then worked closely with Hunt Electrical Ltd to deliver the control panel installation on time.
Kerry Foods - Effluent Plant Control Panel
Smith & Cork Electrical were contracted to manufacture a control panel from a clients in house design. The control panel was fastracked through our workshop due to site requirements. Smith & Cork Electrical proceeded to then carry out all site wiring.
Town Close Prepratory School - Swimming Pool Plant
A local preparatory school dealt directly with us to upgrade their outdated swimming pool control system. Smith & Cork Electrical carried out detailed electrical surveys of the site prior to a planned shutdown. During which we ensured that the swimming pool was upgraded and recommissioned, ready to be put back into service for bookings.
